Latest research on highly efficient intracavity frequency doubled Cr,Nd:YAG/KTP miniature green self-Q-switched lasers has been published on latest issue in IEEE Photonics Technology Letters (2011 IF: 2.191). Over 1 watt green lasers at 532 nm has been achieved in Cr,Nd:YAG/KTP miniature self-Q-switched laser at the absorbed pump power of 7.3 W, the slope efficiency of over 22% and optical-to-optical efficiency of 13.7% were achieved. The laser pulses with peak power of over 2 kW at repetition rate of over 75 kHz were obtained. The compact Cr,Nd:YAG/KTP miniature green lasers kick the applications of optical storage, underwater communications, laser display, and so on. Detailed information about the paper can be found in IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 25(9): 848-850 (2013).
