Prof. Jun Dong's group is within the Department of Electronic Engineering, College of Informatics, Xiamen University. The main research topics are passively Q-switched microchip solid-state lasers for high peak power generaion, ceramic lasers, optical properties of lsaer materials, laser ignition, novel laser sources based on highly efficient nonlinear frequency conversion, laser manipulated micro-particles.Remarkable achievements have been made on passively Q-switched microchip lasers, ceramic lasers, laser manipulated micro-particles and so on.
